The Phoenix Lido – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors and users of The Phoenix Lido facilities.
1.2 The Phoenix Lido includes an outdoor swimming pool and a multi-use area for roller skating and sports such as netball, basketball, football, and pickleball.
1.3 By purchasing a ticket or entering the premises, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings & Admission

2.1 All visits must be booked in advance unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Entry is valid only for the specific session booked.
2.3 Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.
2.4 Tickets are non-refundable except at management discretion or in the event of cancellation by The Phoenix Lido.
2.5 We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person without refund if these Terms are not followed.

3. Health & Safety

3.1 All activities are undertaken at your own risk.
3.2 Visitors must follow all safety signage and staff instructions at all times.
3.3 Running, reckless behavior, or misuse of equipment is not permitted.
3.4 Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
3.5 Accidents, injuries, or hazards must be reported to staff immediately.

4. Children & Supervision

4.1 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
4.2 Supervising adults are responsible for the safety and behavior

of children in their care.
4.3 Any age restrictions or supervision ratios displayed on site must be adhered to.

5. Swimming Pool Rules

5.1 Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times.
5.2 No running, diving (unless permitted), or unsafe behavior in or around the pool.
5.3 Non-swimmers must remain in designated safe areas where applicable.
5.4 Children who are not toilet trained must wear suitable swim nappies.
5.5 The pool may close at short notice due to weather, safety concerns, or maintenance.

6. Roller Skating & Multi-Use Sports Area

6.1 The area may be used for roller skating or other sports depending on the session booked.
6.2 Users must only take part in the activity designated for their session.
6.3 Skaters must move in a safe and controlled manner, keeping awareness of others.
6.4 Suitable footwear or skates must be worn as appropriate to the activity.
6.5 Personal sports equipment may be used where safe and appropriate.

7. Equipment Hire

7.1 Roller skates are available for hire, subject to availability.
7.2 Children may hire knee, elbow, and wrist protectors.
7.3 Helmets are not available for hire due to hygiene reasons. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own if required.
7.4 All hired equipment must be returned in good condition. Charges may apply for damage or loss.

8. Personal Property

8.1 All personal belongings are brought onto the premises at the owner’s risk.
8.2 The Phoenix Lido accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

9. Behavior & Conduct

9.1 Visitors must behave in a respectful manner towards staff and other guests.
9.2 Abusive, disruptive, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
9.3 Anyone asked to leave due to misconduct will not receive a refund.

10. Weather & Cancellations

10.1 As an outdoor venue, activities are weather-dependent.
10.2 Sessions may be delayed, modified, or cancelled in the interest of safety.
10.3 Where possible, alternative sessions or credits may be offered.

11. Liability

11.1 The Phoenix Lido will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while using the facilities, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
11.2 Visitors are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and able to participate in activities.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1 The Phoenix Lido reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2 The most up-to-date version will always be available on our website.
